Also known as Red Meat Radish, this colorful heirloom has a white body (3” in diameter), green shoulders, and bight pinky-red flesh. Sweet, mild flavor and a crunchy, firm texture delicious fresh from the garden and quick-pickled.
- 200 seeds minimum
- Germination: 4-10 days
- Maturity: 60-70 days
- Direct sow ½” deep and 1” apart in full sun/partial shade as soon as soil can be worked. Thin seedlings to 3 inches apart.
- Best to grow in late summer/fall.
