This perennial vegetable has been around for more than 150 years! Victoria Rhubarb is celebrated for its tangy apple-gooseberry flavor - delicious in jams, tarts, soups, and sauces. Large red stems topped with massive leaves are lovely in the garden.
- 75 seeds minimum
- Germination: 6-20 days (soak seeds for 2 hours before planting)
- Maturity: 365 days (harvest one year after planting)
- Start seeds indoors, 5-7 weeks prior to last frost. Plant in individual pots, covering seeds 1/4" deep. Transplant in full sun after frost danger has passed.
- Plant seedings 3-4' apart. Mature plants reach 24-36" tall.
