A beloved New England heirloom producing hefty pods bursting with speckly beans. Vermont Cranberry is a compact bush variety with a tidy upright growing habit. Beans can be enjoyed as green beans when picked early or dried. Hardy and easy to grow!
- 40 seeds minimum
- Germination: 7-10 days
- Maturity: 650-75 days
- Direct sow 1-1½” deep in full sun after danger of frost has passed. Beans need soil temperatures between 75-85° F to sprout.
- Space plants 3-6” apart; space row 2-3’ apart.

good results
Love cranberry beans and new to vegetable gardening. I planted these last year in a large planter and had a decent yield for the limited space. This year I'm planting them in ground in a larger area.
