Equally beautiful and delicious, this hardy annual produces compact 18” plants with nutritious arrow-shaped leaves and dense clusters of edible mulberry-like fruits. Young leaves are tender with a mild spinach flavor. Bolting brings on shiny ripe berries with subtly sweet fruity, floral undertones. An easy-to-grow cool-season plant that can withstand light frost, Strawberry Spinach also tolerates heat much better than spinach.
