Spearmint is slightly sweeter than its cousin, peppermint. Used as both a medicinal and culinary herb, spearmint is rich in antioxidants and vitamins. Fragrant, emerald green plants with spear-shaped leaves grow 12-30” tall. Ample water will insure a lush crop.
- 200 seeds minimum
- Germination: 10-14 days
- Maturity: 70-80 days
- Direct sow in full sun after last frost date. Gently press scattered seeds into soil. Light is required for germination.
- Space plants 12” apart.
- Grow in containers or use root barriers to control spread.
