This majestic Italian heirloom with its signature ribbed, deep green leaves is our favorite cabbage for cooking. Savoy does not have the aromatic pungency (sulfur) of other varieties. Sweet, nutty, and delicious in every recipe.
- 300 seeds minimum
- Germination: 7-14 days
- Maturity: 75-110 days
- Start indoors 6-8 weeks prior to last frost. Plant ½” deep in seed starting mix. Transplant in direct sun 2-3 weeks before last frost. For fall harvest, direct sow 6-8 weeks before first frost.
- Space plants 18-24” apart; space rows 24-36” apart.
