A cousin of the classic Green Salad Bowl, this leaf lettuce matures quickly and is slow to bolt — even in warmer climates. Richly ruffled, oak-shaped burgundy leaves make Red Salad Bowl a bright addition to any blend of greens.
- 250 seeds minimum
- Germination: 7-14 days
- Maturity: 30-60 days
- Direct sow 1/8-1/4" deep in full sun/partial shade as soon as soil can be worked.
- Plant seeds 3-6" apart; rows 12-18" apart; thin seeds to 8-10" apart.
