A classic British cabbage dating back to the 1860s, the Red Drumhead is a rare find in the United States. Its densely packed, deep burgundy leaves taste delightfully sweet and surround crisp, crunchy hearts. Perfect for pickling.
- 200 seeds minimum
- Germination: 7-14 days
- Maturity: 75-95 days
- Start indoors 6-8 weeks prior to last frost. Plant ½” deep in seed starting mix. Transplant in direct sun 2-3 weeks before last frost. For fall harvest, direct sow 6-8 weeks before first frost.
- Space plants 18-24” apart; space rows 24-36” apart.
