An exotic, Guatemalan variety, these zesty little gems are just 1” in diameter at maturity. With a bright and citrusy flavor, Purple Coban is terrific for charring, stewing, or enjoying freshly chopped in salsas and relishes. Fruit evolves from light green to purply-green at maturity.
- 30 Seeds Minimum
- Germination: 6-10 days
- Maturity: 70-75 days
- Start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Plant 1/4" deep in seed starting mix. Requires soil temperatures of 75-85F to germinate. Heating mat is recommended. Keep moist.
- Harden off and transplant in full sun when all danger of frost has passed. Bury deep, planting the entire stem leaving only top leaves above ground.
- Space plants 24” apart; space rows 24-36” apart.
