Rich garnet petals radiate outward from the nearly black centers of this stunning heirloom. A profuse bloomer, the Velvet Queen makes a dramatic garden backdrop and an excellent cut flower for summer arrangements.

- Direct sow ½” deep in full sun after last frost or start indoors 4 weeks before last frost. Sunflower roots don’t like to be disturbed, so transplant carefully.
