Oakleaf has been planted in American gardens since the Revolutionary War. This time-tested variety thrives in cooler temperatures. Crisp leaves are flavorful, red-tinged, and shaped like oak leaves. Often harvested as a baby leaf.

- Direct sow 1/8-1/4" deep in full sun/partial shade as soon as soil can be worked.
- Plant seeds 3-6" apart; rows 12-18" apart; thin seeds to 8-10" apart.
