Organic Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea) Perennial
Also known as the purple coneflower, this bright bloom is both hardy and attractive. Popular for its medicinal properties, echinacea resists drought, tolerates heat and promises to draw butterflies to your garden. Its dried cone heads make nutritious birdseed, too!
- Minimum of 25 seeds per packet.
- Allow 10-21 days for germination. Best when sown indoors at least 8-10 weeks before planting.
- Seed should be cold stratified for 8-12 weeks before sowing indoors.
- Mature height up to 48 inches.
- Plant in full sun to partial shade. Plant seeds 1/4 inch deep.
- Thin plants to 10-12 inches apart.
