A hardy, cold climate heirloom that is simple to direct sow in early spring. Large, cup-shaped blossoms of apricot, yellow, orange, and white abound May through June. Long lasting as a cut flower. Cool climate annual.

- Direct sow in full sun in the fall or early spring, as soon as soil is workable, in light, well-drained, sandy soil. Surface sow seeds- do not cover- needs light to germinate. Keep soil evenly moist, but not soggy until seedlings emerge.

- Space plants 6 to 8 inches apart
- USDA Hardiness Zones 2-8
- Annual or short-lived perennial in cooler climates. Bloom production decreases as temperatures rise.
