This Japanese heirloom’s deep yellow petals surround dark chocolate-colored centers on stalks reaching 6’ tall. Coveted by birds, butterflies and bees alike, Taiyo makes a dazzling border plant and adds drama to any cut-flower arrangement.
- 25 seeds minimum
- Germination: 7-10 days
- Direct sow ½” deep in full sun after last frost or start indoors 4 weeks before last frost. Sunflower roots don’t like to be disturbed, so transplant carefully.
- Favors well drained soil.
