An old Chinese heirloom with a yellow rind and yellow noodle-like flesh. Buttery, sweet flavor and tender texture make this special variety a family favorite. Delicious roasted or steamed. Harvest after rinds harden.
- 25 seeds minimum
- Germination: 10-12 days
- Maturity: 85-90 days
- Direct sow 1” deep in full sun well after the danger of frost has passed.
- Sow 3-4 seeds on hills 3-4’ apart or plant in rows 4-6' apart, spacing plants 4-6" apart.

Insane!
First time growing these so I planted 10 seeds not knowing what to expect. 100% germination rate. Turned my garden into a jungle. Incredibly prolific. Harvest was insane, they just wouldn't stop. Stores great. Still eating fresh from the root cellar.
