Believed to come from the western Abenaki (Sokoki) indigenous people of Vermont and passed along by Roy and Ruth Fair, this storied heirloom yields a mix of gold and maroon ears, 8-12” inches long. Used for cornmeal and hominy.

- Direct sow 1-2” deep in full sun 1-2 weeks after last frost date when soil temperature reaches 60°F+.
- Space plants 10-12” apart in rows spaced 12-24” apart.
