- Maturity: 65 days
- Direct sow 1-1 ½” deep in full sun after danger of frost has passed. Beans need soil temperatures between 75-85° F to sprout.

best bean for hot dry weather
In the summer of 2012, Indiana experienced drought conditions and record high temperatures. This bean was the only one that produced well in my garden, even during the hottest weather. The beans are beautiful, tender and full of flavor. They will always have a place in my garden!
