Bred by Michigan Agricultural Experiment Station for the Association of National Pickle Packers in the 1920s, these thin-skinned cukes are perfectly shaped for your canning jar. Crisp and flavorful fresh from the garden as well!
- 25 seeds minimum
- Germination 7-14 days
- Maturity: 65 days
- Direct sow in full sun after the last frost or start indoors 3 weeks prior to last frost. Plant 1/2" deep in soil or seed starting mix.
- Compost well and keep moist throughout summer.
- Space plants 12” apart in rows 5-6’ apart.
