Product Description
This old Native American heirloom yields oblong green fruit with an orange bottom spot at harvest. Store pumpkins until their exterior is fully orange and smooth, stringless flesh is sweet. Can be enjoyed as summer squash earlier in the season. Flavorful, long storing and vigorous.
- 15 seeds minimum
- Germination: 5-10 days
- Maturity: 115 days
- Direct sow ½-1” deep in full sun after last frost date when soil is at least 70F or start indoors 3-4 weeks before planting.
- Plant 4 seeds per hill; space hills 6’ apart
- Pumpkins should not be planted in soil where melons or cucumbers were recently grown.
