An Italian basil bursting with sweet, brilliant flavor. Delicious in pesto, salads, marinades, and sauces. Hardy and easy to grow. Valued for its anti-inflammatory properties and often used as a digestive aid. A terrific companion plant for tomatoes and peppers.
- 200 seeds minimum
- Germination: 7-10 days
- Maturity: 60-80 days
- Direct sow in full sun 1/4” deep after last frost or start indoors 5-6 weeks prior to last frost. Harden off seedlings before transplanting.
- Basil prefers well-drained soil.
- Space plants 8” apart; space rows 18-24” apart.

Genovese Basil
Gave these genovese organic basil seeds to an Italian friend living in Mexico City. They grew beautifully and the result was an incredible crop of Basil and so which was made into pesto!
