Oats are a popular gluten-free cereal grain typically consumed as rolled oats or oatmeal. Oats are also used as a high yielding livestock feed and an excellent cover crop. Tolerant of various climates and soil types.
- 1/2 pound of seeds minimum
- Maturity: 100-120 days
- Broadcast in full sun around last frost date or in late summer. Loosen soil before scattering 30-40 seeds per square foot. Plant 1½” deep.
