Chesnok Red
I grew hard-neck garlic for the very first time on a whim this season and I was more than pleasantly surprised! I planted 36 cloves and harvested 34 of the the 36! They had a good, hearty taste and cured very well despite my best efforts to do otherwise! I will be purchasing this variety again this fall and look forward to another good harvest of garlic!

Consistently great
I’ve been planting this variety for years. It consistently performs well, has tasty scapes, great flavor, easy to peel, and stores well for us, around 7 months. We live in MI, zone 5/6 and plant as late as November.. mulch it, and feed in spring.

Very happy with this garlic! Grew very well, nice large heads, and stored well.
