Organic Black Turtle Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris)
A favorite in Latin American, Caribbean, and creole cuisines, this glossy, purple-black legume is a cousin of the red kidney bean. With a sweet and mild mushroom-like flavor, Black Turtle is delicious alone or as an ingredient in your favorite recipes. Disease resistant plants reach 20” tall at maturity.

- Direct sow 1-1 ½” deep in full sun after danger of frost has passed. Beans need soil temperatures between 75-85° F to sprout.
