This ancient Egyptian grain, also known as farro, is cultivated like winter wheat and valued for its flavor and impressive nutritional properties. Purple-black husks cover tan kernels that are eaten whole or ground into flour.

- Maturity:120 days
- Broadcast in full sun around first frost date.
- Loosen soil before scattering 30-40 seeds per square foot. Plant 1/4" deep.
