Product Description
Oilseed is a deep-rooted, heirloom variety used as a cover crop to loosen compacted soil. Many growers till the greens and use as a green manure. Oilseed is an easily digested spring or fall grazing forage.
- 200 seeds minimum
- Germination: 3-6 days
- Maturity: 60-90 days
- Direct sow 1/4 ”deep and 1” apart in full sun/partial shade as soon as soil can be worked. Thin seedlings to 2-3 inches apart.
- Plant again in late summer for a fall harvest.
