Product Description
Arrow-shaped, auburn-tinted leaves adorn this attractive perennial hardwood. Its young leaves and shoots are edible and rich in vitamins and minerals. North Red Toon can withstand temperature drops in some climates but requires wintertime protection further north.
- 100 seeds minimum
- Germination:7-14 days
- Soak seeds in room temperature water for 24 hours before planting.
- Start plants indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost date. Plant the soaked seeds 1/8” deep in seed starting media and keep moist. After last frost, when seedlings are established, transplant outdoors in full sun. Compost well.
- Space established plants 12-14” apart.
