This easy-to-grow perennial is a bitter herb often used to flavor meats and repel mosquitos. Expect it to blossom into small white flowers from July through October. Valued for medicinal properties. Tolerates drought. Can become invasive; consult with your regional agricultural authorities.
- 100 seeds minimum
- Germination: 30-90 days
- Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last spring frost. Gently press seeds into a pot or tray containing lightweight soil mix, moisten, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 2 weeks. Remove from refrigerator and place in sunny location. Keep soil moist but not soggy. Transplant when seedlings are large enough to handle.
