Product Description
This miniature muskmelon makes for a perfect single serving. Minnesota Midget yields a bounty of 4-5” melons with brilliant orange flesh and lots of sweet, summer flavor. Compact variety can be trellised.
- 25 seeds minimum
- Germination: 4-10 days
- Maturity: 70 days
- Direct sow ½” deep in full sun after last frost or start indoors 3-4 weeks prior to last frost date. Harden off seedlings before planting.
- Plant in hills of 6-8 seeds; thin to 3-4 plants. Hills should be 4’ apart in all directions, or plant in rows and thin to 8-12” between plants in rows 6-8” apart.

Minnesota Midget Melon
These little melons are wonderful for northern gardeners. Cut them in two, scoop out the seeds, add some blueberries or black berries and they become an edible fruit bowl. One of my favorite things to grow (and eat)!
