An American favorite, Mary Washington will produce a light harvest of tender, tasty spears the second year after planting and a delicious bounty in the years that follow.
- 75+ seeds minimum
- Germination: 14-21 days
- Start indoors 60-90 days before last frost. Soak seeds for 24 hours and plant ½” deep in seed starting mix.
- Harden off and transplant into well composted trenches when frost danger has passed. Gradually fill trenches as asparagus matures.
