Crisp and succulent fresh from the garden, this large, lovely cabbage brings color and bright flavor to salads and stir-fries. Mammoth Red Rock’s dense 8-10” head makes it a terrific choice for pickling and braising as well. Exposure to cool temps increases sweetness.
- 300 seeds minimum
- Germination: 7-14 days
- Maturity: 90 days
- Start indoors 6-8 weeks prior to last frost. Plant ¼” deep in seed starting mix. Transplant in direct sun 2-3 weeks before last frost. For fall harvest, direct sow 6-8 weeks before first frost.
- Space plants 18-24” apart; space rows 24-36” apart.
