Once popular in Medieval Europe, a white carrot can now be hard to find. This heirloom’s long, creamy, nearly coreless roots also make great-tasting baby carrots. Hill up dirt around the root tops to prevent shoulders from turning green.
- 300 seeds minimum
- Germination: 14-28 days
- Maturity: 60 days
- Direct sow first crop as soon as soil can be worked in early spring. Gently press scattered seeds into loosened soil. Resow in late summer for a fall crop.
- Plant in full sun and water consistently.
- Space plants 3-4” apart in rows 12” apart.
