A longtime darling of American gardeners, this space-saving heirloom produces copious clusters of hearty green pods that are tender and stringless when picked young. Tastes great fresh, frozen or canned.
- 40 seeds minimum
- Germination: 7-10 days
- Maturity: 65-70 days
- Direct sow 1-1 ½” deep in full sun after danger of frost has passed. Beans need soil temperatures between 75-85° F to sprout.
- Space plants 3-6” apart; space row 2-3’ apart.

Give em' lots of room to grow up- they reached over 10 ft high! more beans than we could eat or give away. They taste better when they are small, the older, enormous beans can be pretty tough. We will definitely plant again next season.
