This vanilla-scented wildflower is sure to dazzle garden visitors including butterflies with its rosy-hued summertime blooms. According to legend, an 18th-century medicine man named Joe Pye used it to cure fevers. Towering plants can reach 6’ tall. Valued as a medicinal flower.

- Germination: 28 days
- Maturity: 1-2 years
- Refrigerate seeds for 4 weeks prior to planting then direct sow in full sun/partial shade after last frost or start indoors 8 weeks prior to last frost. Gently press seeds into garden soil or seed starting mix and lightly cover. If starting indoors, place tray or pots in indirect light until germination occurs then move into sun.
