Product Description
This prolific fast grower produces bright yellow 5” peppers throughout the growing season. Heat ranges between 1000-15,000 Scoville units. Hungarian Hot Wax is a popular all-purpose pepper, great for pickling and delicious raw.
- 25 seeds minimum
- Germination: 7-14 days
- Maturity: 70-75 days
- Start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Plant 1/4" deep in seed starting mix. Requires soil temperatures of 65-90F to germinate. Heat mat is recommended. Keep soil moist.
- Transplant in full sun when all danger of frost has passed.
- Space plants 12-18” apart; space rows 2-4' apart.

Excellent hot pepper
We have about a half dozen plants, plus a few we gave to friends. Overall, an excellent hot pepper;Not too hot, good flavor, and very prolific. Our friends report that the peppers are easy to grow, as have we.This pepper is approximately as hot as the average jalapeno, but with a "cleaner" flavor. Also, a good pepper for pickling. We recommend this pepper highly.
