A ghostly blue-gray winter squash both decorative and delicious! Sweet, brilliant orange flesh lies beneath Hungarian Blue’s hard rind – great roasted and pureed. Mature squash can weigh up to 12+ pounds.
- 15 seeds minimum
- Germination: 8-12 days
- Maturity: 90-100 days
- Direct sow ½-1” deep in full sun after last frost date when soil is at least 70F or start indoors 3-4 weeks before planting.
- Plant 4 seeds per hill; space hills 6’ apart
- Pumpkins should not be planted in soil where melons or cucumbers were recently grown.
