Product Description
This prolific, heat-loving variety comes from the Texas Hill Country. Red-tinted pods reach 6” long at full maturity but are best harvested when 2-3” long for optimal texture and flavor. Tender young pods are delicious pickled, simmered, roasted, and fresh from the garden.

- Germination: 4-8 days
- Maturity: 60-70 days
- Soak seeds for 24 hours prior to planting for optimal germination. Direct sow 1/2” deep in full sun when soil temperature has warmed to 70° F.
- Space plants 12-18” apart; space rows 3’ apart.
