With its very large yellow kernels, Hickory King is an exceptional roasting corn that is also used for grits, cornmeal, and tortillas. Because kernel skins are easily removed by soaking, it is a preferred variety for hominy. Husks are tighter than most varieties and offer excellent pest protection.
