Valued for centuries across the globe for its cosmetic properties, henna is best known as a source of dye that can be applied to hair, skin or nails. This shrubby desert plant reaches 16’ tall, requires full sun, and resists drought.
- 50 seeds minimum
- Germination: 21-42 days
- Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last spring frost. Gently press seeds into a pot or tray containing lightweight soil mix and keep moist. A heating mat will encourage germination and light is required. Transplant when seedlings are large enough to handle and all danger of frost has passed.
