Product Description
This delicious white parsnip has long white roots with creamy, smooth-grained flesh and lots of flavor. Parsnips required loose, very well composted soil to flourish. Slow to germinate.
- 300 seeds minimum
- Germination: 21-28 days
- Maturity: 95 days
- Direct sow first crop as soon as soil can be worked in early spring. Gently press scattered seeds into loosened soil. Resow in late summer for a fall crop.
- Plant in full sun and water consistently.
- Space plants 2-3” apart in rows 12” apart.

Harris Parsnip
This parsnip is top of the line. I started the seeds in my aviary then transplanted outside to a raised bed. They flourished in a 4ft. bed. I continued to have parsnips way after the growing season. They grew disease free, were fleshy and hardy.
