This fast-growing, golden-yellow heirloom is often preferred over white sweet corn! 5’ tall stalks produce 1-2 sweet, tender, and plump ears 6” long. Loves cooler soil. Our top selling yellow sweet corn.
- 75 seeds minimum
- Germination: 7-10 days
- Maturity: 80-100 days
- Direct sow 1-2” deep in full sun 1-2 weeks after last frost date when soil temperature reaches 60°F+. Plant successively for ongoing harvest.
- Space plants 12” apart in rows 30-36” apart.

Outstanding sweet corn
I have been growing this sweet corn for the past 5 years here in NE Texas, zone 8a. It always produces a great crop, plenty for fresh eating and for freezing. This is the corn my grandfather always grew, and it will be the one I always grow. Have tried a couple of others, but not the yield I get from Golden Bantam.
