Giant Winter is celebrated for its exceptional flavor! Hefty stems with blue-green tops are lovely in the garden. Sow summer-to-late fall; Giant Winter will over-winter for a spring harvest.
- 250 seeds minimum
- Germination: 5-10 days
- Maturity:120 days from transplant
- Direct sow 1/8” deep in full sun as soon as soil can be worked. In northern climates, start indoors 8 weeks before last frost date. Plant multiple seeds in each container. Harden off seedlings before planting.
- Plant 2 per inch in rows 12-18” apart. To transplant, separate young plants and set 4-6” apart.
