This hardy, slow-to-bolt heirloom has been an American favorite since the 1800s. Georgia Southern tolerates frost, heat, and less than optimal soil conditions consistently yielding tasty, tender blue-green leaves that are delicious braised or sautéed. Vigorous, compact variety.
