Striking plants, harvest early
I had no idea how lovely Okra plants are!! I wasn't expecting this tall, stately plant with such beautiful flowers - it is useful just for its beauty. I also learned that okra is horrid and spiny when allowed to grow too large. I couldn't keep up with the harvest so this next time, I'll be freezing sliced okra for use in stews and smoothies. No more buying frozen okra at the grocery!

Great Okra!
This was our first time growing okra and it did great! Was very easy to grow, great tasting and there was lots of it. I would definitely recommend it.
