An All-America Selections winning heirloom! Charleston Grey bears hefty oblong watermelon weighing 20-35 pounds. Rind has a grayish-green skin; pink flesh is ultra-sweet and juicy with minimal fiber. A great choice for pickled rinds. Vigorous vines.

- Germination: 5-10 days
- Maturity: 90 days
- Direct sow ½-1” deep in full sun after last frost or start indoors 3-4 weeks prior to last frost. Harden off seedlings before planting. Watermelon seedlings prefer not to be disturbed; direct sow is suggested.
- Sow seeds 6” apart. Space plants 18” apart in rows 6-8’ apart.
