Product Description
Italian immigrants brought this extremely popular variety to America in the late 1800s. Calabrese produces a tightly packed head up to 7-8” in diameter. After the head is harvested, side shoots form for ongoing harvest until frost. Crisp, sweet, and delicious!
- 200 Seeds Minimum
- Germination: 7-14 days
- Maturity: 70-90 days
- Direct sow ¼” deep 2-4 weeks before last frost date and or indoors in early winter for spring transplant. Repeat in midsummer for an autumn harvest. Plant or transplant in direct sun.
- Space plants 12-24” apart in rows 2 ½-3’ apart.

Very hardy!
I planted this in my garden early last spring, and it continued to produce broccoli until just a month ago when we got a super hard freeze!! I am beyond impressed.

Loved in the end
Initially was disappointed in a smaller than expected center head, however, these plants produced side shoots all season long. No need for succession plantings!
