Introduced in the 1930s, Burgess Buttercup produces 15’ vines and up to twelve 3-pound squash per plant. Turban-shaped fruits have dark green skin and dense, orange flesh with a luscious, sweet flavor. Caramelizes beautifully.

Flavorful and Good Size
This squash was easy to get started and flourished in my garden. Each squash feeds 2-4 people so it's perfect for the average family. I cut mine in half, scoop the seeds, and place the halves in a crockpot. Freezes well. I love the flavor and will be planting again next year!
