Introduced in 1949, this easy-grow and perennially popular garden staple produces large, early yields of long, straight green pods. Enjoy these tender beans steamed, stir-fried or sauteed.
- 500 seeds minimum
- Germination: 7-10 days
- Maturity: 55-60 days
- Direct sow 1-1 ½” deep in full sun after danger of frost has passed. Beans need soil temperatures between 75-85° F to sprout.
- Space plants 3-6” apart; space rows 2-3’ apart.

Good beans
Great germination rate. I planted these as a second bean crop and planted them too late in the summer but even planting them too late I got a lot of smaller tasty little beans. Fall came to early last year or I would have had a bumper crop. I can't wait to see how much these beans produce if I plant them first thing in the spring.
