This rare variety is so rich in color it is used as a dye! Deep purple all the way through with a sweet, berry flavor, this Nantes-style carrot is delicious raw or cooked. Nutrient-dense and loaded with antioxidants, Black Nebula is heat tolerant and easy to grow.
- 300 seeds minimum
- Germination: 12-18 days
- Maturity: 75 days
- Direct sow as soon as soil can be worked in early spring. Gently press scattered seeds into loosened soil. Resow in late summer for a fall crop.
- Plant in full sun and water consistently.
- Space plants 2-3” apart in rows 12” apart.
- Prefers cooler temps.
