Excellent tasting squash
We ordered this squash variety because we never have eaten them before and are always attempting to expand our pallet. Not sure how this variety of squash would hold up to the New Mexico sun, heat, arid climate, and an unrelating hoard of squash bugs, I was pleasantly surprised on the plants durability and flavor. We got decent production and enjoyed the sweet tender flesh of the squash. This squash variety should be picked on the smaller side otherwise the desired tenderness is lost. This squash is now a must for our garden. Not related to production or taste, the scallop squash is very aesthetically pleasing as well.
