Long cultivated for its medicinal and culinary properties, this plant also produces eye-catching blooms ideal for floral arrangements. A towering biennial, Angelica can reach up to 7’ tall! Favored by pollinators.
Caution: Gloves, long sleeves, and long pants are recommended for gardeners as direct contact with Angelica plants may cause skin irritation or rash. Rinse skin immediately after any direct contact.

- Refrigerate before planting. In spring or early fall, sow in containers outside. Scatter seeds onto lightweight soil mix and lightly cover. Partially plant the containers in garden and cover with mulch. Remove mulch when germination begins and transplant when seedlings when large enough to handle.
